2 Year old Fillies Impress in Inverness
The 2 year old pacing fillies were impressive in Inverness for their ATSS. One B Division saw Wenitrainsitpours (Myles Hefferman) win by seven and half lengths in her first victory in a time of 204. Second went to Tobins Glory driven by Kevin Bailey and JJ Tammy in line to Kenny Arsenault finished third.
Bellafornow won the first A Division for Clare MacDonald in 201/2 Clare is the trainer and co owns with Dan Kaiser, of Baddeck, NS. Woodmere Nasha (Kenny Arsenault) was second and Na Naa Said So (Ryan Campbell) was third.
In the second A Division Saulsbrook Ocean won her second ATSS with Dale Spence in the bike. Saulsbrook Ocean is owned by Saulsbrook Stables, Jennifer Baxter and Michael McKenzie of Newport NS. Woodmere Skyroller ( Redmond Doucet) after setting down the fractions finished second, while Elm Grove Ocean (Angus Bates) finished third.
Points earned in each Atlantic Sires “A” Stake pacing division and all trotting events go towards earning a spot in the Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships. Red Shores at Charlottetown Driving Park will be hosting this year’s Atlantic Breeders Crown event October 12-13, 2019.
