New Trot Record Set in ATSS During Grand Circuit Week at Truro Raceway

A strong field of Atlantic Sires Stakes trotters and 2 year old filly pacers were featured at Truro Raceway on Tuesday evening, as part of Atlantic Grand Circuit Week harness racing action.

The first division of 3 year old trotters saw Richsnortherndream cross the finish line first in 2:00 , second went to Dusty Lane Titan and Camco Bailey was third.

Ya Boy Bear trained and driven by Marc Campbell won his division of the 3 year old trot in track record form. He stopped the clock in 159 closing with a 29 second last quarter. Ya Boy Bear is bred and owned by Michael Bailey.
Getting Messi was second and rallying for third was Mile Hill Willie.

In the final division of the Meridan Farm and PEIHRA sponsored trotting event Thelastonestanding won easily in 159.2 rounding out the top three was Dustylane Thunder and Whim Road Gem.

The Atlantic Sires Stakes two-year-old pacing fillies competed in 2 “A” divisions for purses of $10,340. Woodmere Nasha won her division in 1:59.4 second went to Tobins Choice and finishing third was Howmacrivercruiser.
In the other ‘A” division Saulsbrook Ocean won in 159.3 while Watch Me Dance was second and Bellafornow was third.

Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action continues at Truro Raceway on Friday (July 19) evening with the two-year-old pacing colts. First race post time is 7 pm.
