2 Year old Colts Truro Raceway

The two year old colts makes their debut in Atlantic Sires Stake action at Truro Raceway Friday July 26, 2024.

Two A divisions will go to the gate in races 5 and 11 for a purse of $10,540.  Race 5 has Malevolent (Paul Langille) as the morning line favourite coming of his win in the PEI Colt Stakes.  Sergeant Crowley (Robert Laffin) and All My Lovin (David Dowling) round out the top three.

 

The other A division is Race 11 and has five entries with Im Sir Scarlet (Darryl Maclean) also coming in with a win from his PEI Colt stakes debut.  Here on Earth (Adam Merner) a winner in his PEI Colt stakes division and Saulsbrook RockRuf ( Brodie MacPhee) are the other morning line picks.

Race 3, 7, and 9  have the B divisions going for a purse of $6,000

Points earned in each Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division and trot events go towards securing a coveted spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships.

First race post time is 6:30pm
