It was the Atlantic Sires Stakes three-year-old pacing fillies time to shine in Summerside last night as part of Lobster Carnival Week harness racing action at Red Shores Summerside Raceway.
Ramblinglily and driver Brodie MacPhee put on an impressive showing crossing the finish line in 1:58 in the first ‘A’ division event. The filly is owned by Allan Jones of Riverview, NB, and Normand Leger of Shediac, NB.
The second ‘A’ division event on the evening race card went to Ask Don’t Tell with Jason Hughes holding the lines in a time of 1:58.4 for owners Paul Turbide and Martin Arseneau of Havre-Aux- Maisons, QC.
Capturing the third ‘A’ division event and the winner’s share of the $9140 purse was Whistys Paradise and driver Ernest Laffin for owner Christopher Laffin of Mill Village, NS.
