It’s shaping up to be another busy week of Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action as both trotters and pacers meet for competition during Atlantic Grand Circuit Week at Truro Raceway.
Tuesday evening the thirteen dash race card will be dominated by eleven Atlantic Sires Stakes events. The two-year-old trotters will go in three divisions for $5260 each and the three-year-old trotters will go in two for $7100. Meanwhile the two-year-old pacing fillies will meet in 4 A divisions and two B divisions. First race post time on Tuesday evening is 7 pm.
On Thursday evening the two-year-old pacing colts will show what they’re made of when three A divisions each go for a purse pool of $7020 and three B divisions round out the race card.
Atlantic Sires Stakes Grand Circuit Week events will wrap up on Saturday when the three-year-old pacing colts meet at the Truro oval.
Points earned in each trotting event and all A pacing events go towards earning a coveted spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship.
