The Atlantic Sires Stakes three-year-old pacing fillies put on a good showing at Northside Downs on Saturday afternoon.
Seeyouonthebeach captured the first of three ‘A’ division events with driver Darren Crowe holding the lines at the North Sydney oval. The brown pacing filly crossed the finish line in 1:59.1 for owner Roy Springett of Windsor, NS.
Darren Crowe picked up another Atlantic Sires Stakes win with Isleofplams in 1:59.2 for owners Wesley Patriquin of Debert, NS, and Paul Merlin of Wentworth, NS.
The final $6760 ‘A’ division event went to Pictonian Amanda and driver Mike Stevenson in 1:59.3 for owners Daniel Ross and Bill Bell of Belfast, PEI.
Meanwhile Island Reactor and driver Edgar Jacobs took home first place honours in a ‘B’ division event. West River Willow and driver Kenny MacDonald won the second ‘B’ event on the afternoon race card.
