Atlantic Sires Stakes Fillies Highlight North Sydney Race Card
The Atlantic Sires Stakes two-year-old pacing fillies put on a good show at Northside Downs on Thursday evening.
Sweetwater Teaha captured the first of two “A” division events with driver Brodie MacPhee holding the lines in a time of 2:00.2 for owner Raymond Deagle of Inverness, NS.
The second $8860 “A” division event went to Bettim Theresa with driver Jeff Lilley in the bike in a time of 2:02.3 for owner Danny Purcell of Newport, NS.
Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action returns to Northside Downs on Saturday afternoon when the two-year-old pacing colts meet at the North Sydney oval. Post time on Saturday is 1:30 pm.
